Ignoring people only really works if everyone ignores them, coz' if they don't, you're left unable to make much sense of things going on around you. God knows if I started ignoring people that irritated me here, I'd be talking to myself.

He can stay on Ignore, though, 'cause the moment I undo it I'll be greeted by vitriolic hate-mail in my PM inbox, and I can't be arsed dealing with that

Also, I've tried putting a few people on ignore, but I've found it's generally easier to just gloss over their posts instead of backtracking and clicking show if I lose track of a conversation.

Back when there was a button for it I tried to put myself on my ignore list but it said that no matter how hard I try, I'll never be able to ignore myself.
