Ah, time flies by, it seems like only yesterday I was playing the first mafia. (I wasn’t playing it for very long, yet it was fun all the same), and now we have had an outstanding ten mafias! And now the awards have arrived, it is time to vote for the best, lets have a look at the past games.
Mafia I: Ah, Mafia I, it was the game that started it all off, the players were all new, and I don’t think the mafia even knew what they were doing!
It was a time before role claims and reading posts carefully, yet it was just as gripping, and for that reason it will go down in EOFF mafia classics, not only because it was the very first, but because (Quite possibly) It was the funniest.
Mafia II (Disney mafia): Things start to get serious now, I remember playing as the mafia in this one, and guess what? All the mafia were voted off before we had a chance to turn things around, a mafia usurper and poor mafia strategy made it the easiest game to be played, yet it was still incredibly fun, and with new power roles, and players beginning to think carefully about the game, it may be regarded as the best mafia game by some.
Mafia IV (Staff Mafia): After the failure of III the players started becoming very serious, the mafia were very well prepared, and the town were working together, suspicion was placed on anyone who made a slip up, and tension was rife, this is a top contender for the prestigious award, Del Murder and Miriel planned it beautifully and all the players were truly stuck in, it was a very close game, which was won by the townies, the dark horse to win.
Mafia V (Final Fantasy mafia): This was insane, there wasn’t a vanilla townie in play, and all roles were pro-roles, I remember this one fondly, I was a Lover and got lynched Day 2, everyone was wetting themselves about my partner when they didn’t need to, and the mafia were laughing, but not for long, my partner committed suicide, and the mafia hint was back on, and it went straight to then end, the mafia Godfather was the last mafia standing, and the notorious Jester was still deterring the few town left, it was so close but the Godfather went down, and the town grasped victory.
Personally this was my favourite, but will it be able to contend with the others?
Mafia VI (World War mafia): There was a shocking twist in here, almost halfway through the game a scrambler was killed, everyone switched roles and confusion flew through players minds, this resulted in what was possibly the worst role claim in history, but despite someone claiming Bomb (Which the rules post says was banned) It went to the bitter end, There were Brothers, one town, one mafia, and on the very last day it was all down to them, it was close but the mafia narrowly won, thanks to the Brother cop, and the Brother Goon.
Although this was short, it was crammed with insanity, and is a large contender, will it do it? It’s a shame the Brothers can’t save it again.
Mafia VII (Video Gaming mafia): Now, I’ll admit I may be biased, I thought of the Video Gaming idea, but my partner did all the roles (And latter half of the game, assisted by A late replacement) Because of a faulty internet connection, but it was still a brilliant game, the most notable role was the Daytime Vigilante, who pretty much controlled the town, with his day-kill powers, and fast thinking attitude, the town saw victory, as the mafia were being two mafias were being picked off one by one, a top contender? Possibly, just possibly, this may surprise us by getting the award.
Mafia IX (Ace Attorney Mafia) : After Mafia eight never really happened, we got Ace Attorney mafia, people were hungry to play and let rip the second the game started, there were many key moments in this, Director Hotti going insane, the mafia serial killer, and the town lynching both of their cops in two days in a row, it was a very exciting game, the town did not do very well, they managed to struggle and almost snatched victory from the jaws of defeat towards the end, but to no avail, the mafia narrowly won.
This is 100% the game to beat, but will it lose out to another mafia game in a surprise result?
Mafia X (Harry Potter mafia): The most recent, players were incredibly experienced and managed to sniff the two mafia factions out, but that doesn’t mean the mafia did badly at all, a mafia recruiter’s performance got him a chance for the best mafia role, and one of the mafia godfathers could of made it to the end if a record keeper didn’t rat him out.
It was truly a momentous game, and is fresh in our minds, will that advantage allow it to be the best?
And that is our mafia round up, and on that note I’m off, I actually was supposed to leave good a couple of days ago but I was kindly reminded I needed to do this speech, at least I left on a high! Goodbye EOFF players, and have fun in future mafias, but for now … I’m going, for good!

Here ya go, don't edit any of it out, I spent ages typing it.
