Help with Zodiark!!

Damn... this game is uber hard. I had no problems with the dark aeons and penitence on ffx... those were somewhat easy... but I cannot stand against this jerk.

I just lost two hours game play (how hell they did not put a safe point!!!!)
I'm at level 89 so the level is not a problem.
I've got the rare game foes from the mines and I could steal that rare item from Zodiark (that stone) but he killed me.

I decreased his HP to 10% pretty easy... but then he became immune to everything... at sometimes I could hit him with magicks... I've been hitting my own characters with Mirror mail to send him more damage... but Zodiark started to do Darkja and banish beam like mad...

Where the hell are the omniphoenixes in this game

Any clues??

Use Black Masks to absorb his attack Darkja. Regretfully, the game has no defense against Darkja's side effect of random instant death.

At less than half health he starts using a physical pailing that makes him immune to physical attacks, some skills, and Quickenings. It does wear off but he quickly recasts it on himself thus the window to actually hurt him that was is so small that you might as well as assume that the immunity is permanent. At this point you should cast Scathe on him repeatedly and keep your party as far away from each other as possible. As you know he spams Scathe as well so this will keep casualtites to a minimum, I also believe that Darkja is an area affect spell (though its range is most of the room) but keeping them spread apart may protect at least one of them from Darkja's dubious instant death. He does cast a Magick pailing but he doesn't keep its guard up as much as the physical one. With some patience and careful monitering, you should beat him and finally acquire the strongest and cheapest Esper in the game.

You might also want to get him down to half health and quickly use a Quickening on him before he casts the pailing. If you are able to chain it long enough, you may in fact kill him with just the Quickening.

Yeah all I gotta say is damn Zodiak, Omega, and yizamat. I think those are the three bastards I hate. I only got to beat Zodiak. I got into the fight with Yizamat and quit playing. I got almost everything in it except for you know, the "best" sword.

Anyways time when he uses the immune attacks and then try to chain quickenings before he does. Thats the only real way to beat him. Other then that, don't quote, 99% of the time he is invinsible.

I hate this cheap esper so much. Dark Anima was easier , holy crap.

I tried an extreme offense way

Fran and Ashe with Bersek (Holy Lance x9999 damage every time) Haste
Penelo attacking also but without bersek and curing when necessary.

I managed to get him down to 0.01% (could not see the bar) but he did that of the damage and a darkja... and then that thing became inmune to magicks too...

I HATE IT!!!!

I was thinking in the quickening thing as well... gonna try that (all the waaaaaaaaaay again to reach him... sigh... (4th time)

Dead again... Did a 11x quickening... he went down to almost dead again.
Finally... beat that mothersmurfer...

Bersek + Haste + Holy weapons - started with baltier to die to darkja, then all my team out... fighting until Switch... which I switched holy weaps into uber weaps...
Penelo did the last hit (all the other were dead... due damage taken while attacking)

What an uber super bosh ;lol

Now I'll try this ... however... I play with no summonings, GFs, Spirits, Aeons or espers... whatever they name are... they are a waste of time (on the aeons were cool)
