So what songs/bands would you not normally admitt to listening to as they arent 'your scene'?
Mine would probably be 'Up' by The Saturdays. i dunno why, but i love this song xD
Kate Nash's stuff also amazes me

Dead in the Water, by Hawthorne Heights.
I'd rather not be known for enjoying and song sung by the epitome of the term "emo band". Still though, I love that song
Anyone who says sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the rain.
Your post reminded me that their new album is out. I just finisheddownloadingpretending to buy it, and it's not very good. Then again, I'm not into this genre anymore.
EDIT: The song I'm currently listening to from the new album isn't too bad though. Just listen to it with the mindset that one of their guitarists recently died. Many of the lyrics reflect that.
EDIT2: That before-mentioned song was the only one I cared for. The rest shall be deleted.

Linkin Park. I really like a lot of their songs, but the very second I say that I like them, people think they know me ;_;
I had a friend who looked at the library of music that I listen to and stated that most of my musical taste could be considered a "guilty pleasure".
I don't really have one cause I enjoy most of my music and never feel guilty about listening to them.
True beauty exists in things that last only for a moment.
Current Mood: And it's been a long December and there's reason to believe. Maybe this year will be better than the last. I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself. To hold on to these moments as they pass...
I haven't a "scene", but it does seem to surprise my girlfriend whenever she hears me playing David Schombert.
...
Miley Cyrus. I love me some Miley.
And I'm not ashamed of it, but Family Force 5. I do get a touch embarrassed when people hear them for the first time because their lyrics are pretty corny and they're a touch heavier than my normal taste.
I'm not ashamed of anything I listen to. To do so would insinuate I care what other people think to begin with. xD
I'll listen to some of Evanescence's more well-composed songs in the car sometimes. Other than that I always use them as the punchline when I make fun of whiny, aimed at 14-year-old girls, "I'm such a victim" lyrics. :rolleyes2
I really like listening to F-Zero music. I'm not ashamed of it at all though.
'Under my Umbrella-ella-ella...'
