EoFF Elections 2008
Yo! I'm back, and I'm more of an election booth than ever, if that is somehow possible. Would YOU like to be President of EoFF? I'll wager that you would! This year, the Elections are inspired by the US Presidential elections, so you too can be Barack Obama or, if you're feeling particularly brave, John McCain. Read on, friend, read on.
IMPORTANT NOTICE #1: What the hell is going on? Elections? What?! Don't worry. It's just a little bit of fun! It's not important, it doesn't mean anything, it's all for a laugh, and it does not affect the running of Eyes on FF at all. Join up and have some fun yourself!
IMPORTANT NOTICE #2: There are only two parties this year, pre-made by us, your Election Booth friends. So please don't go making your own party threads; they will be closed. Yeah, we know it's a change from the old format, but go on, give it a go, it might be more fun! And if it's not, we'll forget this sorry incident and it'll never happen again, so everybody wins. Sorry if you had a great bitchin' party idea, but hey, you can still make that your individual standpoint!
Okay, I get it. But how does this thing work? I'm confused.
It's split into three phases. It's simple!
Phase 1: The Beginning - Take a look at the The Avalanche Party (thread here!) and the Shinra Party (thread here!) and join one that appeals to you! You don't actually have to agree with their views, it's just our attempt at being witty and satirical.
Phase 2: The Primaries - These parties are great and all, but you know what they're lacking? A leader! If you want to become the leader of your party, put forward your name! Members of each party will vote for who they want to lead them into battle. (If you're still confused, think of this as Obama vs Clinton vs Edwards to become the Democrat Candidate)
Phase 3: The General Election - The two candidates will go head-to-head in a fight to decide who will become the next President of Eyes on FF! They will be assisted by their fellow party members, who can perform tasks to help swing key forums in their favour. (If you're still confused, think of this as McCain vs Obama, who are helped by the Republican and Democrat party members)
See? It's not that complicated, is it?
