The Avalanche Party Thread!
The Avalanche Party's power base is in the northern forums, like General Chat, but they are also popular with thinkers and artists, so they have a strong power base in Eyes on Each Other and Arts/Writing.
The War
In 2001, Citizen Bleys launched a vicious terrorist attack on Eyes on FF, destroying the World Events forum. In response. EoFF sent in a team of Cid's Knights to God Hates Fraggles', a forum belonging to Bleys' close ally, Dr Unne, upon rumours that it was harbouring hackers and spambots. After an initial spam bombardment, the forces of Unne surrendered and the Cid's Knights began an occupation, where insurgents launch daily assaults upon them.
The Avalanche party wishes to immediately pull all Cid's Knights out of GHF. They also intend to pay a series of reparations to GHF for all the damage done, funded by an increase in membership fees. In addition to this, they have also decided to give GHF the Spirits Within Forum and the General Archive, as a sign of good faith.
Homeland Security
The Avalanche Party believe that Cid's Knights having the power to view regular members' IP addresses, email addresses and birth dates is an invasion of privacy, and these powers will be removed.
Law & Order
The Avalanche Party will strip Cid's Knights of their power to ban users and close threads. Posting hardcore pornography and "buy cheap nike jordan shoes" are just ways of users expressing themselves, and creativity should not be stifled. If a user comes into your visitor messages showing hostility, you should passively allow him to do and take what he wishes, and remain calm until he leaves.
The Economy
The Avalanche Party will shun corporate sponsorship, and EoFF will be ad free. However, users will have to pay for membership. Long-time members, having had more use out of the site, will be in a higher tax bracket than newer members.
Immigration
The Avalanche Party thinks that EoFF belongs to everyone, and new users from GameFAQs, Gaia Online and the YouTube comments section will be encouraged to join, and their presence will be just as valued as long-time EoFFers. Anyone who tells them off for embracing their own unique language (lol this vid is COOL!!!!!) will be outed as a racist.
