sry. netbeans6.1 for java. but why does it do that?! see, this is why i never upgrade anything. but wright state requires everything to be up to date

Does it have a default location where it's looking for files, projects, packages, etc... that you need to point to the correct location?
i dont know. its calling me a liar now. its not showing anything, but none of my projects show up in the projects menu.

Check your folders (use Windows Explorer) relating to netbeans6.1 and see if you could find your projects from there.
Or go to Start Menu>Search and type your project name in, and then click search.
