"They said this day would never come. They said our sights were set too high. They said this country was too divided, too disillusioned to ever come around a common purpose. But on this January night, at this defining moment in history, you have done what the cynics said we couldn't do." - Barack Obama.

Graphics look amazing...I couldn't stop looking at those backgrounds (both 2D concepts and in-game)
If everything else matches the artistic vision of this game,SE may have another hit under it's belt.
It will also be a good comparison (as far as graphics go) between it's recently licenced Unreal engine and FFXIII's White engine...
I wonder if the game will also be released simultaneously in Europe... although i don't have any high hopes.![]()
^I doubt it. They'd have mentioned it most likely if they were going to.![]()

I just looked into this game today and it looks amazing. The development team looks particularly strong, looks like most of the SaGa people. Hopefully this will be able to wet our appetites before XIII comes out, it may even be better.
! Looks like fun!
Just found out about this game from Game Informer, and it looks amazing.
I can't wait until Fall.
Edit: Also, the Trailor up at IGN

Does that opening Voice sound like Vash(Trigun) to anyone besides me?

Bumping this because it deserves it.
This game from what is shown so far is simply amazing, it looks as if the game is going to draw you into it and seriously keep your attention instead of having the ability to focus elsewhere and continuously hit the "confirm" button. I'm really looking forward to its release.
1. Graphics don't make games any good.
2. The Unreal 3 engine isn't all that good either.
The game looks interesting, just hope that the PC version will be released around the PS3 one...
? the engine is like...the standard/measuring stick for modern graphics. Sure, there's more powerful games out there, but how many can you really name?
I really wish we'd be getting a PS3 release date for this. Between this and Red Alert 3, I really feel like a second class citizen.
I meant standard/measuring stick, as in what other engines can be compared to, considering how widely distributed/mainstream it is. The only engine I can think of off the top of my head that tops it easily is the cry engine 2 (for crysis), crystal tools is yet to be seen, and I would venture to say the MGS4 engine (using XSI) is in the ball park, if anything, a little worse, at least when it comes to character models, I think.
I didn't know a thing about this game. :o
I knew the title.![]()
Jack: How do you know?
Will: It's more of a feeling really.
Jack: Well, that's not scientific. Feeling isn't knowing. Feeling is believing. If you believe it, you can't know because there's no knowing what you believe. Then again, no one should believe what they know either. Once you know anything that anything becomes unbelievable if only by virtue of the fact you now... know it. You know?
Will: No.
If Demolition Man were remade today
Huxley: What's wrong? You broke contact.
Spartan: Contact? I didn't even touch you.
Huxley: Don't you want to make love?
Spartan: Is that what you call this? Why don't we just do it the old-fashioned way?
Huxley: NO!
Spartan: Whoa! Okay, calm down.
Huxley: Don't tell me to calm down!
Spartan: What's gotten into you? 'Cause it sure as hell wasn't me.
Huxley: Physical relations in the way of intercourse are no longer acceptable John Spartan.
Spartan: What? Why the hell not?
Huxley: It's the law, John. And for your information, the very idea that you suggested it makes me feel personally violated.
Spartan: Wait a minute... violated? Huxley what the hell are you accusing me of here?
Huxley: You need to leave, John.
Spartan: But Huxley.
Huxley: Get out!
Moments later Spartan is arrested for "violating" Huxley.
By the way, that's called satire. Get over it.
