    Default MSN Host file problem

    Well I am haveing trouble signing into MSN Messenger, I'v tried uninstalling it and reinstalling without any success, can anyone tell me how I can fix this.

    Well did the Repair button fix it?

    If not, try deleting C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts (replace Windows with wherever Windows is installed) and see if that helps - if that file reappears, unless you're using something like Spybot S&D, you may have a virus of some sort
