Oh, Chris was just fine when we met Dr. El Salvador. It was Bint who suffered, OG COG style.

And yeah multiracial lulz are great, especially as when you're watching cutscenes you know Campcom were like "Should we change them too?" "Eh cba".

I'm still miffed with the direction this series has taken. More so than ever with Resident evil 5. We have plenty of third-person shooters on the market and while I'm not against Capcom making its own it has in the process removed one of the last remaining survival horror series. And I don't want anyone claiming that the series is still scary as its not, especially now with Resident Evil 5 being in broad daylight. But I'm not going to dwell on that.

I'll probably buy Resident Evil 5 seeing as its coming out in March of next year and I don't think I'm planning to buy anything else around that time. Hopefully Capcom can surprise me this time but I'm not counting on it.
I agree about this. I haven't played RE 3, but what i liked about the Resident Evil series, is that it put fear into you. I played the first two games and found it unique at the time that I was put into a situation with hardly any weapons or bandages while a whole horde of zombie humans and creatures coming after me. RE4 didn't scare me in the least and I didn't really like it's puzzles either. That one in the basement you had to solve as Ashley was near impossible to solve unless you cheated or if you're Steven Hawkins.

I might try this. It's coming out for the Wii right?

resident evil has defanitly gone from survival horror to more of an action game. somtimes i miss the bad camra angles that cause things to jump out at you unexpectantly and the puzzles were way better, i also liked the running around. RE4 is more straight forward.

I like it just as good but for diffrent reasons

I doubt RE5 will be on the Wii. The Wii could not handle the mad graphics going on in this game.

Also that puzzle was easy as hell...okay. I admit I don't know what puzzle you are talking about but my answer would remain the same. I had no trouble blazing through things as Ashley.

I have played the demo for RE5 and I am don't really like it so much. I am sure with an easier difficulty it would be fine on your own. Problem with the game is that enemies take quite a bit to kill and your computer partner is a smurfing retard. For a game where precise aim matters a lot, A.I. for a partner should be god like, really good or GTFO of the way. She does none, gets her ass kicked, eats up ammo and is just bad.

I wish for an easy mode because the enemy strength is built for 2 human players and not 1.1 players(.1 for the retarded AI). I had no problem with the regular zombies but that chainsaw guy does not go down. I would like to have her run around dodging while I take him down with the rifle from far away...but NNOOOOOO she has to ride your dick like crazy(that would be awesome if it literally happened XD).

I seriously feel like I am doing this on my own with a ammo wasting dip:skull::skull::skull::skull:.

Then the inventory system has been screwed. They went backwards by making them just slots again.

I was gonna buy this game but now I don't think that I will.

Looking at the newer Resident Evil games, it feels like they've gone off-track and spent so much time with things like AI etc. that they've forgotten what Resident Evil was really about. It's really just become a survival shooter game as opposed to anything else.

Didn't stop them with Dead Rising.

Apparently Dead Rising has approximately two zombies in it on the Wii.

I've played through each area a couple times more for fun and I don't find it that hard save for Sheva. I've only failed twice and it was her fault both times. Bitch needs to learn how to move out of the way. Or I need to learn how to make friends by March, one or the other! This is why I always say never have a partner if you're going to run away from black people for 5 minutes or so. It's an old saying here in Indiana.

    Hahahahahahaha.

Tell you what I don't like about RE5's zombies. They absorb too much damage before going down. I've taken to aiming for the kneecaps, but even that doesn't seem to work as well as it did on RE4.

Yeah, things that worked fine in 4 just weren't as effective in 5, much of the time. Even headshots don't do what they used to. That said I don't object to difficulty, most of the time 4 was a cakewalk.

Oh, have you guys had the attack where the dude who grabs you basically vomits a Las Plagas at you? I was creeped out when that happened xD

thats one of the best things about RE is the kool kills.
And have you ever noticed that in the adds for RE4 5 instead of showing the star kickin some serious arse it shows them getting murderd/mutillated/decapitated

guys, when i played the demo i was agreeing with you all and thinking this game wasnt as good as resi 4, i was even contemplating not getting it. after having just spent the last hour playing on co op with a friend, let me tell you, resi 5 blows resi 4 out of the water and i cant wait for it.

in single player i found that the girl was a waste of space and ammo was eaten too quickly because the enemies absorbed too many bullets.

in co op the girl wasnt a problem obviously and the ammount of ammo seemed to be just right. also, uppercutting and stomping is very effective.

it took is about 5-6 tries to beat the chainsaw guy, and there is no way i could do that on single player mode, which leads me to believe capcom set the difficulty to very high on the demo, so the game should be easier

me and my buddy found that him grenading then kicking the chainsaw guy while i stood back and sniped him did the job.. eventually

if anyone wants to play co op, let me know
