I like the idea of incrementing the number at the end of their name as they are cloned and used again. That way we can see who dies the most times.
Clones are fine too.

We lost a few good soldiers in a grueling battle. I guess it is good that we are getting more recruits, but they are all green as can be. Somebody needs to whip them into shape and show them the ropes...

Also, death comes with a 1 month (game time) cloning penalty. After 1 month of your death, you will be added back to the bottom of the reserves!
I will start putting dates of deaths on the next batch of deaths. These dates will not be permanent, so if you want to record when you die, then ... uh, do it yourself. After you are cloned, you will have the date removed. For the current people being cloned, they will become officially added to reserves on February 20th, game time.
Also, cloning is optional, if you want to be left dead, forever, permanently, forgotten to the annals of history, please indicate so when you enlist!
When will the next mission start? I'm raring for some action.

I had a terror mission after two interception type things as well.
A month seems a bit over the top, especially if the people who die are the people who are generating the most activity in this thread. I'd say a week at most would be good enough. Or a month in 'game-time', maybe.
