I went to an election party for the Canadian election. NDP one in my riding, and the local office's celebration party was right next door to the apartment our party was at. It was in some convenience store / bar hybrid (weird eh?). They also had hookahs. Beer was had by all.
I voted Obama. I live in the most conservative area of California though...
