and would be cool to play Lost Vikings, Bahamatt! I think actually 3 player is possible there where we can control all vikings at once. :o I saw someone do it on youtube. that would be especially awesome! They did it on a Sega emulator though, but that's easy to fix.

Yeah, what the hell is up with that! Apparently it's near impossible to netplay if you're using a router. Wired connection seems to be the way to go. Too bad my laptop rejects everything that's wired.
also:
- Both yer roms needs to have the exact same name
- You have to use the same version of the emulator.
- Turning off firewalls may help.
- That thing Zsnes lists as your IP is not actually your IP. This is your ip.
But yeah, don't listen to me. I haven't been able to make it work either, but that's probably because of the router.

A lot of things work a lot nicer if your ports are fowrarded, and some stuff doesn't even work over routers otherwise, like transfering files over irc.
I know that's what I need to get it to work with a router but it's just too hard to understand for my mediocre brain. D:

I am behind a router and I can play ZSNES just fine. You have to set up your router to allow it though.
