Killing off inactives is better than replacing them because I hate the idea of replacements. Especially those who have already been in the game and killed. They were obviously killed for a reason and letting those players back in the game is kind of a slap in the face to the mafia team. I am fully aware of the irony this statement.
If you don't have a week or so to kill playing this game then don't sign up. It takes like 5 minutes to come in and vote. I know it takes a lot longer to read the thread and make informed judgements but who needs all that. Here's a little secret, I barely read you guys' long ass posts when I play. I skim most of them and outright ignore a lot of them. I play in the moment and sometimes get a little peeved when I'm asked to justify stuff I did two days ago. Mafia isn't about going over everything everyone has said with a fine toothed comb looking for inconsistencies. Mafia is about looking them in the eye and seeing if they flinch.
I like speed lynching. I actually prefer it, whether I'm town or mafia. Instincts, man! Got to go with your gut. I'm not saying never talk, but when you wait until the last minute of the day, drawing this crap out and forcing ties, then the game you want to be playing is the game of politics, not mafia.
