Give the roles negative hours. Yes they need to submit they're choice before the day is over.
What if they submit the choice at the start of the day, because they cant get back on for a while, and the person they target is lynched.

I suppose the person would be able to pick again if they return in time. That's why time limits are normally set at the beginning of a night not midway through ;D
