Well I figured it belongs in here even though this is more about the launch because I don't play World of Warcraft (yet!) World of Warcraft, Wrath of The Lich King officially went on sale in the uk 3hours and 38 minutes ago at time of writing. I was there, I sold the second or third copy to pass through our hands.

It cost Blizzard £40,000 apparently to set this evening up and well, I can well believe it. We had everything from cute girls in mini-skirts, stockings and knee high boots (pity they had one size fits no one t-shirts on though I congratulate some of them for doing sterling attempts to make them look more fitting including the one who had me tie it as tight as I possibly can, I think she might need to cut that off or find me and ask lol) to ice sculptures. In 2.5 hours we had a massive number of customers pass through the tills and well, it was pretty damn bad my back hurts more than I thought possible heck even my hands feel the pain right now. Going back to work at 16:30 does not appeal to me at all but hell it was good fun we got offered a flashing by one customer, she was quite cute but she wanted our limited hats which were given to us by Blizzard (they had ! and ? symbols on them I have one of each I only wore it because 5 cute girls battered their eyelashes at me and asked nicely when I had my hair spiked! I caved, I am weak they were hot I was putty!)

After we'd finished with our massive line of customers the Blizzard people were really happy with our work and even said "well we're going to see about getting a list together of who worked here tonight, what systems you have and see about sending you free stuff" So I am very happy about this. Free stuff is always welcome as are cute girls! My boss was happy with me and a friend too for we came out with a great idea of selling our bags for life to people tonight so we have some kudos points this is always good for me because I seek favours occassionally.

So who brought it, did anyone come to HMV Oxford Circus today and get their copy, who wants it and do I cave in and begin playing WoW?

Naxxramas. It's a Vanilla WoW instances that they redid and put into WoTLK.

I quit playing WoW about a month and a half ago or something along those lines. I have no plans on going back because nothing in the expansion particularly interested me.

Getting two copies tomorrow, it'll be fun to run around leveling DK's with my wife. UnHoly and..hmm not sure, probably Blood. At any rate, it'll be a nice change.

I got it and am enjoying it so far. The death knights are fun as and I think are a good change for the game. I hope they keep the hero classes coming.

Also, the death knight story quests are epic. Had a hell of a time playing and RPing the huge Scarlet Crusade and Scourge battle.
