I also read the story from Edward's perspective (the partial release, at least, since the author put it on indefinate hold) so it'll be extra interesting. Midnight Sun is awesome.

It was SO much better than I expected. It was really funny at parts. And half the movie, honestly, was zoomed up in on Edward's face. No. complaints.
Okay, seriously though, after the movie got out, all of my friends and I were like "SEXUAL FRUSTRASTION. >;OOOO" because the movie was two hours of watching amazingly gorgeous people.

Which was officially announced, by the way! They're starting to make New Moon! Hopefully they'll get a decent budget now that the first one made up pretty much it's entire budget on opening day.
I still haven't seen it yet though. I'm having a hard time waiting for my friend to finish the book, but she promised she'd have it done in time to see it tomorrow.

I started reading the book this evening because I was so damn bored
I just saw it. There are no words for the girltardation that has washed over me.
Keeping in mind that I have no problem separating "book" and "movie" as completely different things, and that I always prefer to just take things as they come rather than nit-pick, I thought it was perfect. They took all the things I thought were dork-a-rific in the book and toned them down, and added extra funnies. And Bella's dream... super bonus.
I was seriously willing to just sit in the theater until it started up again.
I really like some of the songs on the soundtrack...Bella's Lullaby and the orchestra stuff are super purdy.

My roommate saw it and she said it was pretty sucky.

I saw it again today! I liked it even better now that it didn't seem so fast.
I also noticed that they made Bella a vegetarian in the movie. I lol'd.
I took my anti-Twilight friend to see it. She said it wasn't horrible. I was pleased.
