Yeah, someone should be shot for the Twilight screenplay. I mean honestly, either they should be shot and killed or they should never be allowed to work in the film business ever again. Probably the worst screenplay in existence.
Robert Pattison reminds me of Orlando Bloom. Hotties who really can't act. But you sorta forgive that bit cause they're cute.
Okay, so Edward is a tool and the screenplay sucks. But Robert Pattinson is not to blame!
Then again, I've never been one to scrutinize people's acting ability; they have to be pretty obviously bad for me to notice.
Can't argue with that. Supposedly she had to be convinced to do it, and she hates it and hates how long they focus on her, but still... ugh.
But for some reason it's awesome whenever Stan Lee does it. xD
Got the book for Christmas. Finished it Boxing Day. I'm now a teenage girl and am in love with Edward. Not even kidding, I've grown breasts.
So I'm ignoring what the majority of the world is saying and actually paying to see the movie at the cinema. From what I've seen of it though, it looks like they've totally robbed Edward of all his good points in the book and made him cheesy and depressing.
He's always been cheesy and depressing.
True, but I also found him funny at times. *swoon*
You're all wrong and I hate you.
Edward was supposed to be wearing a tan jacket, damnit!
xD I love you PG.
Series of events: I was recommended to read the book a while back. Thought it was <img src="http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif" alt="skull" /><img src="http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif" alt="skull" /><img src="http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif" alt="skull" /><img src="http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif" alt="skull" />, stopped reading halfway through. Took a girl to the cinema, she wanted to see Twilight, so we did.
I have to say, the movie was pretty good. The best thing about it was the two leads. It must be notoriously hard to act out such heavy scenes while looking convincing, & while keeping chemistry. I think they did a good job. The movie was decently put together in all, and the castly seemed solid. 7/10
