Portable remakes

If you're more into the PlayStation era of Final Fantasy, get the PSP. If you're more into the older Nintendo eras of Final Fantasy (the better ones ) then go for the DS. You can play FFI-VI, TA, TA2 XII Revanant Wings, and so on. You can also go for The World Ends With You too.

I'm going to talk about the DS titles not getting the attention... also made by Square...

Firstly from your list, FFTA2... if you liked the first, this game is also great. I never did actually do every mission, but I beat the main story line. It's a long game and tons of fun.

FF:CC Ring of Fates. It's a vast improvement on the original FF:CC. Great action RPG, the story is fun to play through. If you can get friends to play this game with, it's tons of fun.

The World Ends With You....
Not Final Fantasy, but quite possibly my favorite game ever made. This alone is better than any of the games listed for the PSP or DS.

Honestly, I'd go with the PSP for the FF Tactics remake alone. All of the same great gameplay, some new classes and sidequests, and a much better translation of the already awesome story. It beats anything on the DS

I agree. I've Played and beat all of the FFT games this one is by far the best plus you get CC:FFVII on the PSP
