What do I do? I've already tried reseating the memory, and nothing changed.

I really need a fix to this ASAP-- the 12-page report I typed last night that's due tomorrow is on my laptop!

EDIT: After spending an hour with a tech support guy, it turns out that one of my memory sticks are fried. The other is fine, but I have to run on a pathetic 2GB of RAM until I get some replacements mailed to me. Please disregard this thread.

Vista 64bit. If I could have more RAM, I would, but my motherboard only supports up to 8GB. It's an incredible thing to have when rendering.

I remember my old computer had 16mb of ram, not enough to do anything good, it seemed like. But I was really impressed when I found out it had a whole gigabyte of harddrive space!
