What are your favourite types of birds?
I must say, Australia has some pretty sweet native birds.

And while I'm at it, I am not a fan of the ibis. Most disgusting bird ever.

Hyacinth Macaws. They're the biggest macaws. They're really beautiful.
I wanted one for my 10th birthday, but it was too expensive (these birds run for prices in the thousands. D: ), so we got a smaller macaw.
I saw some guy showing off an owl today, collecting donations for the local wildlife sanctuary. The owl seriously did not give a crap about everyone looking at it and instead just shut its eyes and tried to go to sleep. That is my kind of bird.
Yeah the Lyrebird is something else.
I generally try to avoid picking favourites, but swallows are lovely birds.
Finches! 'Cos they are tiny, and they hop around with their no-arm-ness.
