Thanksgiving Traditions

Everyone has certain things they do for the holidays. Generally, people gather together and have a big dinner with their families or friends. Do you have any specific traditions on this holiday? Do you substitute anything for the main course - beef, lamb, seafood or a vegetarian dish?

I know many people list things off that they appreciate and are thankful for. Some write these things down, stuff them inside balloons and send them away. Some pull papers out of a hat to read off anonymously. Some make themed dinners or have treasure hunts. What are some fun things you and your loved ones engage in?
