I've heard some disparaging things about the Blackberry Storm. You may want to read some reviews before buying it, if that is what you decide.

As for me, I have a laptop. I don't need a phone with that many extra bells and whistles.

If you want the media, get iPhone.
If you want good texting, get the enV2. xD

There's also the G1 to consider.

I've heard the Storm's touchscreen isn't up to snuff, as well, and read bad things about Windows mobile in general. The 2nd gen iPhone is probably as good as you're going to get with a smart phone right now, but there's likely going to be something you're not too fond of with any phone you pick.

If you go review huntin' and see which phone best caters to the things you care about most, hopefully you can find something satisfying.

I have an LG Chocolate and it serves me well. It's my phone, my camera, my calculator, and my calendar. It has more features than I'll ever use. I never really caught on to the whole 'handheld-media/networking' thing. If I wanted to get on the internet, I'd much rather use a computer. Those tiny keyboards look pretty cumbersome. But that's just me.

I have a Blackberry Storm and it's pretty cool. The current OS does lag a bit since it barely came out though, I don't know how much patience you're willing to up. The iPhone is pretty cool, however I didn't want to go to ATT because the coverage in my area is horrible. I've had Verizon and I've never had any dropped calls. Go with the iPhone if the coverage is good in your area since it's already in it's second generation and you won't find that much problems.

Hmm yeah. I think while the idea of a mobile Windows is pretty cool, from what I saw at the store today I didn't really like the look of it or feel of the touch screen on the Omnia. I didn't get to see an iPhone because I hate shopping centres so wanted to get out of there as fast as I could, but at the moment it's on top of my list.

Either that or I go with a cheap plan and get a very basic Nokia phone. But I'd love having a multimedia/communications centre in my pocket.

I can get an iPhone on Vodafone, which is excellent coverage around Australia.

    Yes.

I have an iPhone and I love it!

The iPhone is totally worth it. The phone itself is really good, but then there is the apps, the games, the media player, the browser, etc...

The virtual keyboard on the iPhone is really good. Responsive and has auto correction and auto completion (both can be turned off) that is accurate and learns, so it improves with time.

I've recently got FF I and FF II ($9 each). Lots of fun playing them.

I have an iPhone and I'm really happy with it. I don't have a problem with the touch-screen keyboard, and I slipped into using it right away. I love the auto correct features aswell, it's so handy to not have to go trolling through the grammar menus just so you can put an apostrophe in "what's".

Vodaphone have great plans as far as price goes, my uncle is with them and he likes it. I went with telstra just for the coverage, but by the looks of it vodaphone has some really nice cap deals.

Please don't revive threads old threads; this one is two years old! Thanks.
