I've heard one of the Trepe groupies uses them a lot, but I couldn't tell you which one or if it's even true. Other than that, I don't know.

I did some Googling about it the other day, and found out the Trepie #1 (in the Cafeteria) only uses Level 3 and 5 cards, which i confirmed. However, I didn't get a SINGLE TriFace card after playing him for about 3 hours! Got plenty of Malboro cards though. Maybe it just wasn't my day, but I'm thinking I'll just wait until the Deep Sea Research Center to start Carding them myself for the 100 Curse Spikes.:bigbiggri

I always found the little kid running around the Garden (who you get the Mini-mog card off) was always good for the Abyss Worm and Tri-face card.

I just found out that a lot of the players in Dollet are pretty good for Tri-Face cards. Most notably the guy walking around the beach area, by the kids playing hide-n-seek. I played about 10 card games, and won 5 TriFace cards.

Trepie 1 uses level 2 and 1 cards as well as 3 and 5 atleast in the PAL PSX version I've seen a "creeps" card which is level 2 only. Also in Garden near the library on disc 1 at least is sometimes a cadet who says "todays SeeD should be more brains than brawn" challenge him I rolled in like 7 tri-face cards in 15 - 30 mins.

I think I found someone in the garden library, but I don't remember if they were tri-face or tri-point. I think it was triface though
