You've never played Shadow Hearts? Really? You're missing out! I think it's better than Final Fantasy. :x *bricked*

Back on track now, yes, I am a big fan of SH music. It is very distinctive, but because no song is exactly like another, it never gets boring to listen to. I have all three soundtracks, plus the Arrange tracks on my iPod. ^-^ It's just... awesome.

As for the dark mood, there are a lot of dark elements in SH, being it's a psuedo-historical horror game set around WWI Europe, but there are a lot of more playful, upbeat tracks as well. Many of the towns and character songs are not dark at all.

Uematsu is okay, but Mitsuda and Hirota are always new and exciting.
