Does anybody here have the kingdom hearts manga by Tokyopop? I have the first series and the two chain of memories books, and their not bad. So, discuss!

There's apparently several differences among the original game, the manga, and the re-releases (CoM in particular). I have yet to pick them up, and I doubt I'll plan on doing so until I at least have some sort of stable income.

I love the CoM manga more than the game

I have the Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories manga... in the first book on page... 180 or something, there's a random picture of Sora, Donald Duck and Goofy having a water right... it has NOTHING to do with the plot and doesn't really fit in, anyone know why it's there?

I read the first manga, it has more stuff to add to the goofieness of the story

i read the mangas but got super bored with them cause they were just a dictation of the game. i lost intrest

I own them all and I enjoy them. However, they are too short and I completed them all in about a total of 15-30 minutes each. But they are descent.

I had the 1st boxset, I read the first few pages, but didn't really like it. I don't know why... Since I am a big manga fan. I ended up selling the boxset. I like the game very much though.

I didn't really want to pay for them because they looked short, but they look so cute! My favorite LJ icons are from the manga.

I flicked through it. The art isn't that bad.

You have to be careful, because sometimes manga artists can murder a beautiful beautiful thing. I'm a big fan of Labyrinth (& David Bowie...), and so I saw the cover for the manga and I was like "oh gosh that looks great"


AND THEN I LOOKED INSIDE AND IT WAS T-T-T-TERRIBLE AND IT WAS LIKE MY HEART HAD BEEN TORN INTO A THOUSAND PIECES OF SOAPY FIRE AND RAZOR BLADE GLASS

Seriously, who keeps on hiring Chris Lie? He's not talented or original in the slightest! Way to kill one of my favourite films! >: (
