Alright. All the interesting conversation on my Silent Hill 2 thread has compelled me to post one of these. I'm sure there has been one already. But once again. What is your favorite Silent Hill?

I think everybody pretty much answered this question in your other Silent Hill thread. Whatever I suppose.

My favourite Silent Hill is without a doubt Silent Hill 2. From the story, characters to just the town itself Silent Hill 2 has yet to be surpassed.

I'm a little mixed, I like SH: Origins quite alot due to the questions and things you can create from the Bad Ending (The Butcher also makes alot more sense to me, which was definetly needed in the end).

Silent Hill 2 is def the bigger fave though, that creepy random Elevator Sequence with the announcer xD? It's just super-amazing overall.

Well, I know what you mean. But this thread is mainly for the poll. It is also for people who may have not had much to say other than which Silent Hill is their favorite. Perhaps there are alot of unheard opinions.

Any Silent Hill will do it for me, if Ive got anything annoying on my mind ill usually play a random Silent Hill to scare the outta myelf.


That or Dead Space, seriously, first actual sh*t scary next gen game thats come out.

Silent Hill 3. The first game was unnervingly creepy and disturbing. The second game had a pretty creepy story and had it's highly creepy moments, but overall just wasn't as scary as the first. The fourth and what I played of Origins were pretty good. Maybe on the level of the first at best in the creepy department.

But SH3 is hands down the scariest game I've ever played. Since it came out I have played it once. It took almost a year before I had the nerve to consider playing it again. I actually plan on playing it again soon, but it is hands down one of the most creepy, surreal, disturbing, and downright unnerving games I've ever played.

I'm a big fan of the Silent Hill franchise. It's a tough decision to make, but I'd have to go with Silent Hill 2 as my favourite installment. It just left such a big impression on me, and I think that game was the peak of the survival horror genre. I've really enjoyed every Silent Hill though, except for Silent Hill 3. I just wasn't feeling that game, oh and I've not played Origins. Homecoming and the first Silent Hill are tied in second, and The Room would be third.

Yeah, I also have to say Silent Hill 2. It was the first Silent Hill I played, and I totally fell in love with it. None of the other games in that series that I've played have affected me so much. Man, that letter at the end =( Amazing.

Anyways, yeah. Silent Hill 2!
