Yay!
Verry neat wings you've got there. They most've taken forever!
I'd like to see that picture in black an white - if you'll try to make it into a tatoo later ^_^

I love her wings! It's a fantastic drawing, good job
I suppose it's gonna be a tattoo in color. Anyway, I still haven't been able to show it to that friend of mine, so I might decide to re-draw it or alter it depending on what he asks me.
just don't try too hard to make it tattoo friendly yourself, let the tat artist do that as they probably will anyway.
Tyler lies back and asks, "If Marilyn Monroe was alive right now, what would she be doing?"
I say, goodnight.
The headliner hangs down in shreds from the ceiling, and Tyler says, "Clawing at the lid of her coffin."
Wow that is pretty amazing. You really do have a great talent with coloured pencils.
One thing I will say is that the way you have shaded the upper thighs makes them look bulgey and fat. I can't stop myself noticing it and it spoils the overall effect of the picture. That said, the level of detail you've included is astounding, just hope it will transfer to tatoo form.
Could you post a picture of your friends tatoo when/if he gets it done?

Thank you. This one's colored pencils and gouache.Originally Posted by black orb

Rydia, once again. I have a fascination with this character. I'm not really satisfied with it though. This piece has been photoshopped much more heavily than usual. I duplicated the bottom layer with Multiply mode to have more intense colors, added a lot of shadowing, made corrections with the Liquify filter, and abused Vivid Light mode brushes. But I still see mistakes in the line art and shadowing.
Please let me know what you think so I can improve.
I think it's great ^_^
She's got a real nice expression - and i adore the lightning effects. ^_^ You've managed to make it look like pure watercolour, and not stomped on in photoshop like alot of highlited/corrected pictures have an tendency to ^^'
Plus the dragon heads angle is sweet ^_~ it takes alot of exprience to pull that off.
What inspired you to do this drawing? and what other medias, than photoshop, did you use?
That's beautiful.
I used watercolors and colored pencils. Then I scanned it and Photoshopped it. ^__^
As for inspiration, well, not much else besides playing Final Fantasy IV and Amano artwork, which I adore.
Ah, I see... ^_^
Well, the watercolour part sure shows. It's super nice.
Way better than anything I could hope to do in the near future!
As for some constructive criticism, her legs and pelvic area are really bugging me. Try working on those things in the future.
Closing statement:
It's beautiful. I think the dragon is flawless but I agree with Xaven about there being something really awkward with Rydia's hips/thighs/waist area.
