Out of FF games, I'd have to actually say the Xenogears soundtrack, definitely. The guy who did that sound track moved on to do Shadow Hearts, which explains this:

I like a lot of the Kingdom Hearts music, and also Mitsuda's music in general. He did Chrono Trigger and a fair amount of Shadow Hearts as well.

It is a crazy four way tie between Xenogears, the Shadow Hearts series (Yoshiitaka Hirota is my drug of choice), Tomba!, and Spyro.

Out of the four, I think Shadow Hearts wins by just a smidgeon. The Astaroth song is probably the best boss song I've heard, EVER.

Edit: They censored Hirota's name! I had to add an extra 'i'.

I loved a lot of MGS4's tunes. The Metal Gear theme is one of my favourite videogame songs. LittleBigPlanet has an awesome sountrack. Other games like Ratchet and Clank, Ace Attorney, Gunstar Heroes, and Mega Man has some really good music. Among many others.
