Congrats you just contributed to my sadness.
I'm never in any shortage of hugs. If I need one there's always somebody to give it to me. A kiss should not be given out freely simply because then it cheapens the act.
I have a tendency to categorize actions hierarchically such that my reaction to events are consistent with their perceived importance (ie I won't throw a tantrum over spilled(spilt) milk). So if something like, for example, kissing became a regular event, I would need to escalate affectionate activity in order for it to be as meaningful as a kiss once was.
It is honestly a source of conflict in relationships for me.
