You get a black chocobo, just like the original. The walkthrough should still help you get through the game it just won't help as much for the revamped bosses.

Its in the northern most region of that map, a little farther up where Troian(sp?) is. As for what to equip... well there is a trick. The Dark Elf has cast a spell that magnetizes metal and will paralyze anyone with any kind of metal equipment. Yang is fine as long as he wears a Ruby Ring, Tellah is also good. Cid should keep his Wooden Hammer and equip leather/cloth goods. Cecil should also switch to cloth/leather goods and he will need to equip the elemental shard weapons you purchase at the Troian(sp?) city.

In the dungeon, have Tellah use the elemental spells you can cast from the rod weapons, while Cecil becomes your dedicated healer (his weapons are useless) Cid should use Analyze so you can make Tellah more useful and Yang will be your dedicated fighter. This dungeon is a pain in the ass...

The dungeon is a pain in the ass and the Dark Elf is even harder. I'd recommend having no party member lower than level 30.

one thing i noticed and learned, i Hate the Dark elf.

Who are the five charecters that make up the games final party,

Cecil, Kain, Rosa, Yang, Rydia. so do i have it right? my reason for asking is so i can keep my good augments for them and not waist one on a charecter that will permenitly leave the group.

Yang leaves and is replaced by Edge. The other four are correct.

srry to double post but i need more help ....

how the hell do i kill the docter

1- is there a way to avoid that self distruct during the first fight?
2- during 2nd fight, how do i revive ko'd members?
3- whats an easy way to kill the docter during the second fight?

    1. Nope. If you kill the robot first, Lugae controls it and accidently pushes the self destruct button. If you kill Lugae first the robot will self destruct of its own accord.
    2. If you're lucky he'll cast reverse gas again, cancelling the effect and allowing you to heal normally.
    3. As long as he has the reverse status, chuck two Elixirs at him. If you don't want to waste them (or don't have any) use high powered healing spells on him. If he's not reversed use normal attacks and magic. He's weak against lightning so make full use of Rydia's Ramuh summon.

instead of making another thread, ill double post instead.

once your inside the giant is ther any way to get out befor defeating the arch fiends?
i wasnt expecting to go inside when i tried to return to earth.

There's no way out of the Giant once you go in. But there is a save point as well as a shop for supplies right before the battle with the archfiends. If you're under levelled or don't have money for supplies, you'll have to stay close to the save point and fight the enemies around there until you feel comfortable enough to tackle the archfiends.
