Favourite "Final Area" and Final Battle music?

I always liked Ultimecia Castle's music. FFVIII, obviously. It added to the "creepiness" of the place...and at the same time...personally it made the place seem more awesome.

I liked The Extreme too, which is played when you're fighting Ultimecia's last form. I don't know why, it just sounds nice.

Oh and, Megaman Zero 4's "Ragnarok". Which is played in...well...the Ragnarok Core level. It gave me the type of feeling that it WAS the final MMZero game. The final level. The final boss in the series. The music just gave me that feel.

Also Falling Down, the music played during the final battle in MMZ4. It gave me the same feeling that Ragnarok did, only, it was more epic and it was given a stronger "finale" feel.

I'll steal someone's Youtube comment to sum it up. "A last ditch effort to destroy the enemy". Or something to that effect.

'Burn My Dread - Last Battle' from Persona 3 was nice, but it's not my favourite. I also like 'The Extreme' from FFVIII, 'One-Winged Angel' from FFVII, 'Struggle for Freedom' from FFXII and 'World Revolution' from Chrono Trigger. However, my favourite final boss battle theme is 'The Decisive Battle' from FFX. It's just AMAZING! Gotta love the expressionist-style piano...

As for the final area music, I also liked 'The Castle' from FFVII, but it's still not my favourite. FFVII's was nice, but I can't remember its name. The ultimate fianl area music is, in my opinion, 'The Fortress of Regrets' from Planescape: Torment. It's simply ingenious... So much sadness and regret, a perfect arrangement of the main theme, ideal for the final obstacle...

I like Touhou 8, Imperishable Night's extra stage boss theme. Reach for the moon, Immortal Smoke is <3 (Fujiwara no Mokou's theme)

Dancing Mad is great because it has four parts. I like multi part songs because it like I get more songs in one XD

As for Final area music, I can't think of some that really stick out right now. I'll come up with some later though

Heartful Cry plays for a series of boss battles in The Answer segment of Persona 3. That is one of my favorite songs.

Ulti's Castle, whatever that place in FFIX was (haven't replayed it yet, so my memory of it isn't so great ;_;</>), the Bahamut in FFXII (kind of a boring dungeon, but the music was fantastic), and the Farplane in FFX-2 :</>D!

Burn My Dread - Last Battle from Persona 3 is currently my favorite song ever EVER right now. I love love love it! The Nyx Avatar battle music and the Darkness and Heartful Cry themes from FES are also awesome.


The music playing in Hotel Dusk toward the end when interrogating (SPOILER)Dunning is veeery pretty.


...but my favorite Final Area music in any game is definitely To The Ultimate Relic, from Threads of Fate.

I like the music in Kefka's tower in FFVI. I don't know why it specifically, but it's the only one I remember that didn't get on my nerves.

Even though Nobuo is the king of boss battle music, I think the Zeromus Battle from FFIV is my favorite. It's the one I find myself getting stuck in my head.
