Funny thing about Guadosalam's map.

This is not a theory but a rather curious observation.
I bet you never really paid attention to the map of Guadosalam.Do that.
You will observe a familiar resemblance.
I don´t understand the meaning of this but looks like a good starting point for a second theory.

I think it vaguely resembles the letter "R," the letter "U," and what appears to be an "equals" sign.

If you stack those on top of each other, it is very obvious to be phallic imagery. In fact, it is so phallic, that it even involves the necessary counterpart of the phallus, the female sexual organs as well. That makes it porn. Therefore, FE is clearly advocating the posting of porn at EoFF. Do I smell a promotion? Yes, I bloody smurfing do.

Sin changes its look dependant on what Final Aeon it has merged with. So, unless Gaudosalam also changes, I have a feeling that this observation may be slightly flawed.

But Jecht is Sin so he must've seen Guadosalam and decided to take it's form. Something must've happened in Guadosalam that made him wish to take that form, something in the Farplane maybe.
