    Default Scrolling

I just reinstalled Windows XP on one of my hard drives (it was overtaken by a virus or something), and everything works fine (much faster, too), but when I scroll down or up a webpage in Internet Explorer or Firefox a line goes down or up my screen (in the direction that I'm scrolling and like a transition); plus, scrolling action is a little slow.

What's up with that? Will it eventually go away?

I restarted my computer once, by the way.

Mine did that for a while. I'm not sure if it went away or if I just stopped noticing it.

I think you're missing your display driver. If you got some CDs with the computer, the display driver will probably be on one of those.

Otherwise, do you know what your graphics card is called? You should be able to download the drivers from the manufacturer's website.

If you mean mouse-wheel scrolling is slow, check the mouse settings in the control panel, it's probably set to 1 line instead of 3 or 6 which is normally better
