I hate hamsters. They're cute as hell (the little Russian hamsters melt my heart), but they're mean and tempermental, at least the ones I know. I like rats on the other hand, and we have two Chinchillas and a Rabbit. I guess we like the bigger rodents..

I've had hamsters, but they didn't like me much. After so many chunks are taken out of your fingers you kind of give up.

Something more intelligent like a dog would be my choice, and it'd do a better job of crapping on the keyboard
