I just so happened to visit gamespot today and found this article
Q&A: Final Fantasy bard Nobuo Uematsu - News at GameSpot

Nobuo says that he's got something planned big for the end of this year. I eager to find out what it is. Something else that I also didn't know was that he composed the main theme for Smash Bros. Brawl. I kind of thought it seemed sort of his style,that just makes Smash even greater.

Maybe they're finally coming to Australia? Hah, not likely. I'm excited to see what it is though, should be pretty good.

Maybe they'll release another album? Hopefully they'll finally record a version of Dark Messenger. That song is so perfectly suited to their style that it's practically the reason for their existence.
