Finally I bothered to participate in a thread I started Here are some of my tattoos, the wifey finally agreed to snap em.

I've not got any tattoos, though I might get one at some point. I've no objection to them, they can be pretty hot, but I've no burning desire for one either. I heard a good piece of advice once: If you want a tattoo, plan it, then wait a year. If you still want the same tattoo after a year, get it.

A year might be a little over cautious but I agree never rush into them. A good tattooist won't do one if you aren't 100% anyway. Never get what's fashionable or a fad or short term interest. Tattoos need to have a meaning. You should consider it brother.

Thinking of the pre-1973 club badge. If pushed maybe the Devil in black ink. I'd only erver get black ink. It's the style I like. Coloured ink can look epic, just not on me.

That'd be cute. I seen a koi on a girls wrist, twisting round slightly. It looked fantastic.

The only kind of tattoo I could have would be something funny, exactly what I don't know. I just know I could never have some boring standard thing such as a random japanese symbol or my starsign or something.

I'd never get a tattoo for comical value. it's on you for life dude. How long can you laugh at it?

I don't have any (yet). I've an appointment for one next week - I'm getting a starfish on my left forearm (just after the crook of my elbow).

I want a lot more, but I've only thought of a few other ones.

I have two. And they both mean a LOT to me. The first is the Triforce symbol on the blade of the Master Sword from A Link to the Past.

I have kanji on my arm that says "knowledge Time Honor Courage" the middle two look like crap and I'd like to fix them but I dunno what I want to do.

I dunno! I want to get a tattoo but I don't know of what! And I want sleeves!

They take a lotta money, lotta time & lotta pain. But if done right, they effink own.

A Sleeve can be generic design. They mean nothing & tattooists resent doing them as they mean nothing. Sleeves should be a blend of images. Things you like, done in a design you like. I'd of got a sleeve if it wasn't for the fact my arms had already been inked. I've a tribal design down my arm & going down my chest. My other arm has my Clan motto & a Celtic shield. It might be possible to turn them into sleeves but eh, difficult. My back is next. Failing that,. GET ONE OF ME

Cheers fella. The Gaelic tattoo was to my father, now past away. It says 'Dad, we'll meet again on Innis Flaith', that is the island where mythical Celtic warrior went when they died. May be overly sentimental but he meant a lot to me. The Triskele is a symbol found on old Celtic graves here. To be honest archeologysts just guess what it means, the cycle of life.

I was looking for advise on another one I was going to get. I want a half sleeve on my left arm, and I was thinking of starting out with a picture from ff7:ac, where the wolf stands in front of the sword looking at midgar. I'm the type of guy that wont get a tattoo unless I know I want it on me for the rest of my life. I just dont know exactly what else I want.

I wouldn't advise the FFVII: AC one. That is one you'll probably regret. Just think about what is important in your life always.

What goes on you depends on so many silly factors that the simple idea of having art on your body sometimes isn't a factor.

I have a Canadian flag on the back of my neck. It should be nicely covered by a collar shirt, so that I can go to the office if needed to and it will not show up. It however forces me to wear only collar shirts regardless of what is going on (ie casual day), so there's that.

I had/have a picture somewhere on the internet but it was poorly done and it was new at the time, so two strikes on that. A few (literally 4..maybe 5? Wait James you didn't see it) EoFFers have seen it. OH WELL

At the beginning of next year I'm hoping to get the four DDR arrows either on the back of my left wrist or two arrows on the back of my forearms.

Myles has three dragon claws ripping through his left pectoral and is looking at getting a few gears peeking through ripped skin on his shoulder next year when I get my DDR arrows. :3

I'm pretty much a pansy when it comes to pain, I don't even have my ears pierced. I think it looks cool and it fits some people really well but I could never get any myself.

I don't have a ton of stuff that is totally important to me though, nothing I want a tattoo of anyways. I figured since ff7 was my favorite game I'd throw it on there, but regardless It's probably going to take me a year to decide. It took me about two years to finally get my first there.
