It's a little thing, but it would have been cool to see the characters change their outfits when they wore one of the various armors that are animal suits (Behemoth Suit, Chocobo Suit, Moogle Suit, Tabby Suit).

Yeah, I've always thought this. I like how they change the weapons, but I guess it'd be a huge faff to customise sprites for all armour.
I've thought this for ALL the games. I mean really, when I equip something that's like, "PALADIN ARMOR" I wanna see it. If my character isn't wearing any armor, I want to see that too.

Armor would have been a cool sprite switch. Even the shields were swapped during what they blocked... But I suppose drawing all of the sprites would be a real pain.
I think the helmets and crowns and berets might look abit ridiculus but suits of armour would look good.

The Moogle Suit does actually change the appearance of the wearer into a moogle in battle(since Mog's existence allows for moogle battle sprites), so you've got your wish for that one, at least.
