Thread: Final Fantasy III Remake (NES)

Default Final Fantasy III Remake (NES)

Alrighty, I am getting a version of an RPG Maker that can show the "Side View" Style of battle. I have a problem though... I don't know if I can turn the ATB system off, so I could have it just like the original, if I can, I am going to seriously go through with this, it may take me a while, but I will do it. I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions or whatnot, and if anyone here has some experience with RPG Maker, because help would be appreciated!! (I have a ton of experience with RPG Maker 2mk3, not any others)

    Thanks!!

ATB cannot be turned off on 2003, 2000 is basically the same thing as 2003 but is programmed to use a turned based system, however you do not get to see your characters. With RPG Maker XP you can use Ruby Script Code to code basically whatever you want with the game, but XP is very different then 2000/2003 and you'll have to take time to learn how to use it, especially the scripting.

Yeah, I will most certainly have to look into scripting, as of now, I bought a version of VX, and I just need to figure out a good script, I think I found one, but I can't try it until monday...

I remember my big plan as a 12 year old to make an epic prequel to Final Fantasy VII, using 2k3.

Let's just say I did a lot of talking and not a lot of working on the actual game.

I think a lot of people tried to make a sequel to Final Fantasy VII using 2k3.
Wait, that reminds me, some guy is remaking VII on 2k3.
