    Default 'Creepy' and/or psychic kids

I was at a friends house yesterday, and we were going to see a horror movie, she picked out 3 horror movies for me to choose from, and all of them involved a 6 year old-ish kid who was psychic. I pointed this out to her and she says kids freak her out. I was a bit amazed at how many chicken-fricken movies there are with 'creepy' kids. Let's try to list as many as we can shall we?

additional topic: do you find horror movies with creepy and/or psychic kids scary?

    1. The Omen (1976)
    2. The Omen II
    3. The Omen IV
    4. The Omen (2006)
    5. Children of the Corn
    6. Village of the Damned
    7. Nightmare on Elm Street: New Nightmare
    8. The Orphanage
    9. The Others
    10. The Ring
    11. Carrie
    12. Dark Water
    13. The Grudge
    14. The Shining

    Village of the Damned.
You hold my heart in your manly hands I wanna feel the throb of your handsome gland. I wanna hold you tight like a newborn kitten, against my flesh like a cashmere mitten. Tickly tick, I'm makin' skin bump heaven and all the way down it's lookin' cleanly shaven. Prickety pricks, it's stubble on stubble I better slow down or I'm in real trouble. Want you, touch you, feel you, taste you! Knick knack whacky whack 'till I see the man stew. spin you around let me see that hole! I'm a tunnelin' in a like a short hair mole. Once I'm inside I'm gonna leave a trace, half in there and half on that face! One finger, two finger, there fingers gone! Mano a mano I love you John!

Carrie is a creepy psychic teenager. Dark Water is another one with dead zombie children.

The Grudge, of course. God, there are so many it's hard to remember all the names. Oh, the Silent Hill movie is another. :rolleyes2

Anyways, I can't stand ANY sort of media that uses "creepy" children. It's so overdone and predictable and so not scary oh my god. >=( Where has all the creativity gone!

You forgot the Exorcist, well she wasn't psychic but she is a scary child. I'm too scared to watch these movies...

Well your missing the Sixth Sense. Although I wouldn't say the kid was that creepy.
