    In graphs, definitely cartesian. In code, I use both!

    I mean, uh, math is stupid and stuff.

    polar coordinates have a certain charm to them. . . but I'm not as familiar with them!

    You can do cooler things with Polar graphs, but everyone uses the Cartesian system because it applies to a lot of stuff. Polar, you're screwing with time, imaginary trig functions, etc.

    Whichever one sounds like it will give me a lot of homework is obviously the worst option.

    Cartesian, because it can show lines and parabolae, and I hate polar coordinate graphs.

    Polar is where it's at.




    (especially if you ever do any electrical engineering which i do all the time)
