I'm not either, that's why they suck. My professor says they're too linear, and I'm not getting the concept of charcoal; I'm still thinking along the lines of graphite.

lol, yeah creepy!

Not bad though, keep on working at it and your technique will improve gradually. Charcoal defintely is that way.
