    Look it up. It's a common computer number. 1024 is probably more common than 1000.

    oddly enough, some common computer monitor resolutions are similar 'weird' numbers!

    768 = 512+256 = 2<sup>9</sup>+2<sup>8</sup>
    1152 = 1024 + 128 = 2<sup>10</sup>+2<sup>7</sup>
