I found Chocograph hunting so confusing the very first time, it seemed like id never find them all. Its useful to sell some things so you dont have to discard so much as well

the only one I had trouble with was the ultima weapon bubble. I was like where are the bubbles. Then I used a dead pepper and all was good. There isn't any bubbles to show you thats where it is.

It's kind of a no-brainer though, if you think about it. (SPOILER)Zidane's ultimate weapon where the entrance to his planet used to be.
Even if you go to the Shimmering Isles after their destruction, it's still a bitch because there's no bubbles. First time I played it getting Chocographs, I got it first time. My most recent playthrough, however, saw me using up about 10 Dead Peppers. I actually almost died in fury.
Yeah some of those chocographs are a little frustrating. But it's fun exploring. I like it when you can finally use the other half of the chocobo's lagoon too.
