    Keep it up, these are pretty great.

    If I could make a request, I'd like to see what your style could do with the rough, craggy surface of the black rhino. Black rhino themed piece would be interesting.
    Thanks sharky, I'm glad you like the texturing. I don't draw detailed animals too often, but I have been sketching a lot lately. I'll see if I can squeeze a rhino in somewhere without it looking hideous and I'll keep you posted ;D

    I dunno man, the squirrel and the frog were both really good.

    If you don't like the rhino, I bet your techniques would lend themselves well to some insect/arachnid carapaces. Maybe turtles.

    Thanks! I'm really excited about the arachnid idea! Spiders always kinda freak me out and I think it would fit the darker tone of these ink pieces. I'll experiment with that ;D

    Here's 2 new sketches in the meantime;

    If you do an arachnid piece I would appreciate it being hidden behind spoiler tags.

    I really like that first one a good bit. The second one is good too, but certain pieces just have elements you like for whatever reason, and the first one does it for me.

    I like the smudging technique for the clouds. Is that just charcoal and fingers, or do you use a brush?

    I haven't drawn in at least a decade, but when I did I'd always have to be so careful with charcoal. It was so difficult not to make....extra clouds....if you aren't careful. It's amazing for shading and texture though.

    I spent a lot of time cleaning up with a sketch eraser, as I recall.

    I adore your sketches! They remind me of those old fantasy books that had sketches for each chapter, that I read as a kid, very very good! I especially like the castle! Keep up the awesome work ^^
