>>> Great drawings as always...
Thanks everyone : ) I'm hoping to make more stuff in 2012 than I did in 2011.
Your works are beautiful. I really like them.
Also, I do feel the same about the whale's tail that it's a little bit off. Maybe soften it or make it fade to the background might help.
New photoshop painting! Still experimenting with colouring and painted textures...

New piece! Lighting is a little off since I wasn't able to use a scanner and had to take a picture instead. Anyway, enjoy : )

New digital painting, more colour experimenting! Took about 6 hours, finished it in 1 go.

That latest one is absolutely beautiful man.
Also I'm a big fan of your snowy pictures. The icicle one just a little bit up the page, and then the one with the bear, etc etc. I can't remember if they're in this thread but when they pop up on my facebook I am happy
Thanks Jiro : ) glad you like them!
I've drawn some new stuff. Worked long and hard on these, I hope it shows despite not having a scanner on my hands!

New piece soon to be used for one of my bigger hobby-projects. The symmetry and precision needed for the jet was something pretty new to me. I had to cheat a little and used an F15 jet print as an example. Stoked on the result though. Are you?

Oh man, that is brilliant!! Awesome work.
A bit late to this show, for some reason I thought I had subscribed to this thread earlier but I have now, so yay. Anyway, I adore your work. I mean, the stuff like the polar bear can be done by other talented artists, too, but it's the quirky drawings that catch me. Ones that are unique, that you would never expect to see from other people. A winged whale, a winged F-15 of the latest ones and of the early ones, I remember the giant owl and the huge cityscape with the blimp overhead like it was yesterday. They are drawings that don't just make me think "Ooh, that's pretty" but also make me want to look at the finer details of it, as if they are telling a little story of their own rather than just being a picture.
One thing I will say is that with the bigger stuff (eg. cityscape with blimp) I always find myself looking for tiny things that most people might overlook but I never find anything... perhaps an idea for your next bigger project would be to add in that kind of stuff? A little man in a window, a person peeking around a building, things that aren't important, aren't seen immediately, aren't even needed to be seen at all, but something that rewards the people who find themselves looking at all the little bits of your drawings. Just an idea, anyway! Keep up the good work because it's amaaaazing!
