My arch-nemesis and recurring series villain is the evil mad scientist Dr. Ichabod Shadow.

My first adventure saw me crashing into the evil Dr. Shadow's laboratory as he was about to conduct a heinous cybernetics experiment...on a puppy!!! Luckily, I managed to defeat his evil robot Timmy and leaped over his pit of rabid mutant iguanas to destroy his central computer. His precious hardware met its end with a combined swing of my twin swords. Oh, the profanities he screamed. In the resulting chaos that followed, I managed to grab the puppy and escape just seconds before the entire lab exploded in a fiery plume of doom.

I had hoped that was the last I'd see of Dr. Shadow for the rest of my heroic career. Little did I know that the evil doctor had survived the explosion, disfigured and deranged as ever.

Several months later, he reappeared just after I'd finished tying up Greedo the Goon King and his Merry Minions. He looked completely different, dressed from head to toe in a black armor-plated jumpsuit and a black featureless mask with red goggles. Dr. Shadow's once heavyset body was now sleek and muscular, and he seemed much taller than before. Apparently, the mad doctor had replaced much of his body with cybernetic prosthetics and underwent liposuction surgery performed by a celebrity plastic surgeon.

Dr. Shadow wasn't there for a fight though. Instead, he issued a warning that the next time we met, he would have his revenge. We met again twelve times after that and every time I managed to foil his dastardly schemes. When will megalomaniacal villains ever learn?
