Enemy Levels (FFT)
I was wondering how the enemy levels are worked out in Random Battles in FFT. I originally thought it was just based on Ramza's level, but after Degenerating him a few times, the enemies levels didn't go down in the next Battle, so is it based on an average level of your team?
I think it is. Sometimes monsters had lower levels than my highest levelled charater, but higher level than my lowest levelled character.

It's an average. But I've never crunched the numbers to see if every ally is weighed equally.
It is a medium between the Member's levels. But on some off chances, that doesn't apply. For the most part, that is how the Random battles are set up.
It's an average of the entire party like in FFTA, so people you don't send into battle still get factored in, so having low lvl chars u don't use is usually helpful if you like to dominate random battles.
Or they gimp your exp
I thought it went on how far you are in the storyline....
