Thread: Original NES cartridge Death Squad!

Moogle Original NES cartridge Death Squad!

The original NES cartridge allowed the creation of more unbalanced parties that aren't the same in the remakes.

    Try:

    Fighter
    Fighter
    Red Mage
    BlackBelt

This combo is super-powerful with the benefit of some magic before and after class change. The BlackBelt can be solo-leveled until he is nigh invincible. And as always... the Fighters suck up all the damage and kill everything in sight as well.
but the world refused to change...

My first party ever was the default fighter, thief, black belt and red mage as I didn't know you could switch the class of each character. Also, I mistook the black belt for a black mage and couldn't understand why he couldn't equip any magic. xD

Boy, could that group kick ass.

Yes, exactly. The NES version was balanced more towards fighting.

Dun have the original. GBA version was fun enough

I've been thinking of playing the original via emulator, but I don't think I care enough.
