Starbucks cups

Hey guys.

Well. My girlfriend digs Starbucks. She studies there like every day. Naturally she comes home with a starbucks cup every day too. I feel really bad just throwing them away. They're perfectly good cups. So I've been washing them and saving them.

I want to make something out of them. Something useful. That looks nice. That would be really nifty and that my friends would say "wow" at. For example turning them into speakers or cutting them and designing a lamp cover like this MoMA Store - Midsummer Light

Any ideas you guys? If you give me some good ideas I'll make it and post the results

That is a really nice lamp.

I don't remember what a Starbuck's cup looks like but making something like that lamp would be awesome.

I would make a table. Cardboard is pretty dang strong. You could alternate the rows in a

kind of pattern to make it tall, and you can have four legs, or if you have enough cups, go all the way around to make it a desk. If you REALLY want to have fun, get some stuff called Modge Podge, cut out the witty sayings and decoupage them to the top of the desk. Or if you have it, layer a sheet of glass on top and now it's a coffee table.
